Supply Nation and Indigenous Employment Policy

CMN is also a proud member of Supply Nation.

As a professional legal services firm, we outsource services which are outside the parameters of our skillset. We value the economic, social and cultural contribution of the Aboriginal community and seek suppliers, where possible, who employ Aboriginal people and/or have a proven track record of indigenous job creation. Our procurement and employment policies and procedures encourage and support businesses owned and/or operated by Aboriginal people by ensuring easy access to expressions of interests for the supply of goods and services, use of plain English in contracts and clarity in all documentation.

In addition, our Workplace Relations Policy promotes and requires equal employment opportunities. At CMN as we practice non-discriminatory recruitment and promotion.

CMN’s Indigenous Employment Policy:

  • Confirms our commitment to supporting the employment of indigenous staff
  • Requires all positions advertised to state “People of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island nations are encouraged to apply for this position”
  • Requires us, when interviewing and recruiting, to assess candidates on all existing QMS requirements relating to recruitment – qualifications, skills, experience, ability to perform against the relevant position description.
